Wood pellets are a wood fuel, made from compacted sawdust, produced as a byproduct of sawmilling, shavings and chippings and do not contain any contaminants.
With a net calorific value of around 17 GJ, wood pellets have a low humidity content (below 10%) that allows them to be burned with very high combustion efficiency, and a high density which permits a compact storage and rational transport over long distance.

Generally, in Europe the standardization of fuel pellet quality is far developed, with non existence of a European standard norm. Nevertheless, some countries have established quality standards, namely Austria (ONORM M 7135) and Germany (DIN Plus). Pellets Power 2 main objective is to have a product in accordance with the higher quality standards in order to maximize client satisfaction. To reach this objective Pellets Power 2 follows an on-line monitoring quality system, as well as continuous auditing to procedures and product, by external and independent entities. Pellets Power 2 also considers very important the increase of human resources qualification through continuous training and involvement in company’s project.
